John A. Stieber
A professor for more than thirty years at Southern Methodist University, Mr. Stieber is currently Professor Emeritus of Finance and Economics.
A noted business author and lecturer, Mr. Stieber has served as a consultant to IBM, National Cash Register Corporation, American Biomedical Corporation, Baylor Medical Center Continuing Education, Lone Star Steel, and Arthur Anderson.
He has been involved in the activities of the Caruth Institute of Owner-Managed Business at SMU.
In addition to his professorial duties at the University, he was responsible for management of the Student Endowment Fund, served as Director of the Graduate Finance Certificate Program, and was Co-Director of the internationally-renowned MBA program.
Mr. Stieber has also served on the Board of Directors for several corporations in the high-tech, chemical, and commercial real estate industries.
Jack Stieber
Jack Stieber has been a pioneer in the factoring industry in Texas and the Southwest for over 25 years.
During his career, he has worked closely with the Small Business Administration, the Small Business Development Center, and area Chambers of Commerce to educate these agencies on the benefits of factoring.
In addition to his responsibilities as President of American Receivable, Stieber is committed to enriching the lives of the youth in his community.
He actively participates in the Childrens Advocacy Center, Brian's House, and Childrens Medical Center, as well as many youth athletic organizations.
Brad Gurney
As a Founder of American Receivable, Gurney has worked closely with organizations to promote factoring as an alternative financing program for a variety of businesses.
One of Gurney's main areas of focus with American Receivable is the development and maintenance of customer relationships. An emphasis on establishing a personal relationship with its clients is one of the cornerstones upon which American Receivable was built, and which to this date remains the most important.
Gurney is also committed to his community, contributing his time and talents to the Lucas Academy and the Wings of Hope Equestrian Center, a therapeutic riding center for under-privileged and abused children.
